Opening Day
Talk about butterflies in our stomach! Roughly four months ago Kevin, Troy and I found the space that we were looking for years. We wanted to open the neighborhood Latin themed restaurant that was going to fill the gap in an evolving community. Not that we were tired of the great Italian restaurants in the area, but we yearned for the the restaurant that represented our Abuelita's cooking, and the recipes that molded our taste buds and lives -- our ancestors storied past is a story that had to be told and preserved. So tonight, we open our doors to the public, and a window to our past. We present to you, Havana Cafe in the Bronx, USA. The Yankees could not bring it home this season, we hope you think we did. KTR
